When I nourish myself:

Walking away from a session yesterday, I realised there are so many aspects of a healthy life I can only engage fully when I am properly nourished (and being properly nourished has NOTHING to do with size).

Only when I look after myself properly can I fully:

-Be grateful for all the blessings I have (or see them clearly at all);
-Enjoy the company of friends and family;
-Know I belong wherever I am, because I belong with myself;
-Work competently, and have confidence in my dealings with others;
-Think about things it's fun to think about, and waste no time obsessing about arbitrary, or worse false, 'facts';
-Adapt to the changing circumstances that life inevitably present us with;
-Live my values, and not those of a distorted mind and a, frankly, much-distorted society;
-Stand in front of people, and know that every inch I take up is mine to occupy;
-Sing with my heart and soul, which I so love to do;
-Make sensible decisions, affecting myself and others;
-Help people who need help;
-Smile a real smile;
-Appreciate nature and all my senses allow me to experience;
-See clearly what is worth putting effort/time/thought into, and what really isn't;
-Reassure myself that I am enough; I am right where I need to be, and I have all I need; there is no need for worry;
-Rest properly;
-Know that others' opinions are their business, and leave them at it;
Live a balanced life, and know by the same token, that a bit of imbalance once in a while is inevitable and normal.

There are many more points to add. I welcome your additions whole-heartedly!
Happy Sunday to all:)xx
