I was at the Tutankhamun exhibition at the RDS today, and enjoyed it immensely. I am, and have been for quite some been, fascinated with the ancient civilisation of Egypt. It is a self-guided tour with a headset, and also have some lovely statues in the gift shop afterwards. It was interesting hearing, and seeing, some of the history of Tutankhamun, and was a lovely way to spend an afternoon with a friend.

Hello Mystique, I also saw

Hello Mystique, I also saw this exhibition recently & really enjoyed it. (I was also quite sad seeing the little throne of the child Tutankhamun, for some reason.) I may go again before it finishes.

My only quibble is it would have been nice if the gift shop had some replicas of that gorgeous Egyptian jewellery for us!
