Years ago I could never understand what do people see on pets, I would cross the road to avoid one; today I cross the road to see one. Maybe it is madness, maybe awareness – will not analyse, but it feels good, your Rocky makes me smile, thanks for sharing

Amanda he is gorgous thanks for the picture :) I was reading the other post on pets on iceberg the other day and to be honest I wasn't paying much attention as apparently 'I'm not an animal person'. Then last night I was sitting watching tv and our cat Rosie jumps up on the couch beside me. The post from the previous day popped into my mind so I said right I'll give this a go so I started petting her and do you know what it was really relaxin for both me and the cat!! I started to become more aware of my sense of touch by noticing the feel of her coat and just watching her she was so cute. This post sounds crazy but it was a lovely couple of minutes and put a smile on my face. Maybe next week I'll bring my dog for a walk :)

You know Amanda, I'm a little bit like Marie used to be. I'm not at all and 'animal person', even though I can appreciate that pets help others on their journey.
But I must say, looking at this picture did make me think: "He's gorgeous, valuable, worthy of love, just because he's alive...and so it is for each of us, if we're honest enough to recognise that."
There is inherent worth in every living thing. I'm going to go outside now, look up, and breathe deeply.
