This is a photo of Fidget - a blotched tabby. He is a great source of joy to us because of his character and uniqueness. If we have a bad day we come home and he welcomes us in his special way.He has no esteem issues and does not compare himself with others - he is who he is - take me or leave me.He also believes in balance - much self care and rest - mainly on our ironing board! Thankfully there is no 'Hello' magazine for cats!
We could all learn from his character.

Hello Fidget :)

Ahhh, so cute, I can see that you have no problem in taking photos, some modelling talent...
Maybe we start the "Hello" magazine ir "VIP"?

Ah, I love all the pet pictures, they all make me smile to myself whenever I see an animal, what more could we ask for!!. Constant loyalty, trust and companionship, you are never alone when you have a pet. I love my Rocky. He was a rescue dog and we got him when he was one. He was badly beaten and traumatised and ten years on he is still a bit wary. But he has so much character its unbelievable, he loves anything with machines, drills, washing machines and lawnmowers are his favourite. He simply doesnt entertain normal dog toys like teddies and balls. Apparently they are below him. Rocky is always there for me, he listens to all my ramblings, I especially use him to practice all my french oral preparations for my exams. He teaches me that food is but a means to an end, life is far too interesting to dwell over the calorie content of a doggie biscuit, hell he has a garden of cats to chase and play with.

He too is also slowing down and has been quite ill lately with arthritis and a heart murmur, but then again he teaches me the importance of self-care, taking it easy, having a sleep when he needs it and most of all going to see the vet and taking his medicine. we would never dream of telling our pets to not eat, to exercise loads and to not go to the vet so why do it to ourselves. That quote 'a dog is a man's best friend' I believe is seriously underestimated. Nobody can really know the power an animal can have on you unless you have one and let them into your heart.

Im gonna try and give a photo, unfortunately my face is in it too. Rocky is black and therefore the hardest dog to take a photo off, you can NEVER see him, I swear he does it on purpose.
