I just returned from the cinema, saw One Day. What a brilliant film, I really enjoyed it, so moving. Very sad but really beautiful film. I cried, imagine me crying in a cinema, but I did, ah it was lovely.... I would recommened it!!

The cinema forme had alwasy

The cinema forme had alwasy beena big fear but the other day i stepped out my comfort zone and went to see this film and actually enjoyed it. i got a lot out of it, to apprechaite and go for things NOW and not wait, to let go and losen up, saw a less scary side to love and letting love in, normal body sizes and shapes which was refreshing.i know one day going the cinema wont be ahuge ordeal and i will not worry or be afriad but for now its just another thing for me to be proud and step towards a normal social life. its nice to get lost in a film and lose time for a few hours. this time last year i couldnt sit and watch a movie for more than 10 mins now i can :)

There is no magic cure, no making it all go away forever. There are only small steps upward; an easier day, an unexpected laugh, a mirror that doesn't matter anymore.

Also loved this film...but to

Also loved this film...but to a point. To be absolutely honest, I think what they did late in the film (won't spoil for those who haven't seen it) was very cowardly. Nowadays there is a tendency to do something to upset a story so as to be taken seriously. Conventional, cosy, happiness is not fashionable and certainly not suitable for a film which wants to be taken seriously as a form of art (rather than a nice story).

Otherwise it was lovely though. Completely agree regarding Jim Sturgess (as does my boyfriend who went with me!). He's also a very good actor - in 50 Dead Men Walking, a tough, gritty and very real film, he played an IRA informer and was absolutely convincing. Not an easy role to take on.
