lovely day!
I had a really lovely day today so thought i would share it!
i met my mum on the train today and we went up to newcastle to visit my sister. We went for a delicious meal, shopped all day, stopped for coffee and had a great catch up.
As me and my sister are both at uni now we only really get to see the family at christmas ,easter and summer so this was such a lovely treat to spend the day with my mum and sister, completely condition free. i was looking for a dress for my 21st coming up in march but there was no pressure, and i found a lovely one.
days like today make me treasure my recovery so much and motivate me too keep working at it.
love always xxxxxx
Hello XX, what a lovely post. So often we wait for something big to happen to make us happy and it is the small ordinary thing us make our day lovely, as you describe in your post. Beauty is in a simplicity; our condition and our thinking can complicate a lot of things…
So wonderful to see that we can enjoy our simple pleasures.
Maybe we could have a day of simple pleasures and share it, what do you think Icebergers?
Thanks again, very motivational

I love simple pleasures...
and today I have the wonderful Good News that here in Donegal the sun is rising, and it seems that there is NOT ONE CLOUD in the sky...!!!
Wow...
Can't but start the day positive with that ;-)
Love,

It's amazing how nice a bit of bounding time with your mum & sister can be when you haven't seem them I a while. I agree it really is one of life's simple pleasures:). The best things in life really are free:).
Yep, I'm all about the simple pleasures. Tuesday was a very trying day for me in work and in my own head (and when the two collide, it can be quite challenging indeed!).
So it was so lovely to come into work yesterday and hear a friend tell me "I could see you were down yesterday," and sympathise with, and then be happy when I told her I was feeling much more positive.
I also shared with her some good news about a plan I have for the summer that looks like it's coming together.
Friendship, even with friends to whom you might not be particularly close, is invaluable. It makes life worth living.
