I'm in favour of this http://bit.ly/oKiXJg
I read this article last Friday and decided to reflect on it for a couple of days before posting here. Decided to post it this morning :-)
I am in favour of educating young people about the practice of air-brushing etc. and the effect on people's mental health. Hopefully this programme will be delivered in a healthy manner and we'll see more of these emerge, ultimately with long-term benefits for society!

That's brilliant thanks. Personal attributes and human values versus appearance = how to lose the value of thinness.
One thing: why would we try to hold up an image of perfection for everyone to try and emulate? Really it doesn't make sense. Would we not be better off trying to improve our golf swing, work on our singing, think of others, save for a dream holiday - real, attainable goals. How did we ever ever get sucked into a falsity?
I think that is a great news, I like the Minister’s comment : “I want children to recognise from an early age that their value is worth so much more than just their physical appearance.” - so encouraging. It is good to see there are changes happening.
Brilliant article, thanks
