I need a Therapist!
Hi all,
I live in Co. Galway and my work hours are quite erratic. I'm really struggling with my E.D at the moment and feel the need for some professional help. The furthest distance I can travel is within an hour of my home. Does anyone know of a therapist, specialising in E.D in the Galway/Roscommon/Athlone area? I've already been in touch with Marie, but the nearest therapist she can recommend is in Limerick, which is too far away. Any recommendation would be very much appreciated, Thanks : )
hey there i so understand the dilemma of trying to find help other resources to find one would be bodywhys have a services directory and also the easting disorder association of ireland have a list of therapists ..i think galway is covered in both ..GOOD LUCK ;)
Hi Katy,
Don't feel isolated with your ED. Its brilliant that you're able to say that you feel you need treatment. Try not to get anxious about the therapy situation. You will find that people will keep their eyes and ears open and if they have any info for your area they will get in touch.
In the meantime keep logging onto Iceberg. It will make you aware of some excellent techniques that may have worked for people in the past and most importantly it will remind you that you are ot alone.
