Grown Ups
When I saw the trailer, I was not very impressed, but I go to the cinema in the morning and usually I see what is on first and today it was “Grown Ups”, even if I was not really pushed, i said I will give a try, needed some laugh.
Whooo I was pleasantly surprised, I just loved it sooo sooo much.
The film describes five childhood buddies weekend reunion after 30 years.
During the film you have to laugh even if you do not wanted, not only that. The film will put you think as well, what is happening to our values and our quality of life. But as Hollywood films do – it will finish all well.
So refreshing watching Salma Hayek, it reminded me her great performance in film “Frida”, this time she has totally different role, interesting.
I felt so energised after watching it, would highly recommended if you need to have a fun.
It could be good film for parents and family members – it can bring some great realisations....
Just finished watching The Lovely Bones and don't think I've ever cried so much so am needing a good comedy. Thanks for the reccommendation Marie :-)
Marie I saw this film at the weekend it is kinda funny isn't it. I always think Adam Sandler is hilarious and it does liften your mood.
I also watched a film last night, completely different to 'grown ups', called 'Pay it Forward'. I've seen it a couple of times before and I always enjoy it. I love the idea behind it.
I was reading the post on 'Film Therapy' and I definately agree that going to the cinema can be a great way of spending time with family and friends during recovery. It has definately helped for me and my family anyway as its not too stressful and usually enjoyable for everyone.
Have a great weekend,
Mairead x
I haven't seen Planes, Trains & Automobiles in years!!! It's such a funny film! Definitely worth watching!

I am glad you liked that film, Mairead, here is an another one - really greatto watch if we ever feel unlucky, watching this film will suddenly make you think that you are the luckiest person on the world.
This comedy will make you smile, cry and put you to think – just great – will watch it again
Let's all have a film therapy weekend
All the best
