For those who missed it...

...this group focused on the topic of talents and gifts. It was a challenging and uncomfortable session as we struggled corporately to articulate ourselves as the talented and gifted people that we are.

For me the most significant realisation of the evening was that in order to take joy in my gifts, I need to attribute to them value and worth, and not allow the views of others to influence my honing and enjoying of talents. I also refuse to allow the ED to starve me of the pleasures of my own skills any longer.

Easier said than done, but we all have to start somewhere! This week I will engage in at least one thing that I am good at/enjoy doing.
