So, at group this morning a wonderful person spoke about condition being like a jigsaw puzzle. You pour your heart and soul into completing this jigsaw. You toil tirelessly for weeks and months and years. You divert all your attention onto this elusive promise that condition teases you with.

And for what? You get nothing but misery.

So this really made a huge impact on me.

***I'M MAKING THE WRONG JIGSAW!!!!!!!!***

So I decided to symbolically destroy my ED today... And OMG it felt amazingggg. It was crazy to write out all the parts of condition and realise "WHAT AM I DOING!!!!!!" (I'm making a shocked face and shaking my head)

So... I highly recommend it. I took photos to document my afternoon.

I feel powerful now. I feel like I just killed off a bit of condition. It was exhilarating.

I highly recommend it. IT WAS THE BEST SATURDAY AFTERNOON I'VE HAD IN AGES > sorry for shouting, I'm just really excited and wanted to tell you all :) Also I have another jigsaw all ready to go to symbolise my recovery... I'm excited to make that too.

Nice comparision;)

Dear lala,

Well done!! What a lovely idea to compare ED to a jigsaw:)...and you know what? It's a jigsaw where there's always a piece missing somewhere as ED can just never be happy or satisfied, it's so sad how it doesn't know any feeling of completeness...Therefore a good thing to destroy it and not let it mess around with us, telling us to keep looking for those missing pieces (which, of course, are nowhere to be found - one of ED's great jokes)

Because our lives are just no jigsaws - they are happy and complete whenever we allow them to be!!

A really nice way to release frustration and anger and getting the feeling of power back;-)

Love
Rose
