I know I'm a wee bit late with this, but right I had a graduation to go to and some visitors around so only get to announce this now:
If you find yourself somewhere in the North-West corner of the green Island, in Co. Donegal, then you really can't miss the
Dunfanaghy Jazz & Blues Festival (http://www.dunfanaghyjazzandblues.com/index.php)

This festival happens every year, the second weekend in September, now for the fourth year in a row and has grown and grown...it is a fantastic opportunity to wander from pub to bar to hotel lounge, inside outside, even on the street, and enjoy live music... everywhere there is music, in back yards, in the front, from big band to solo artists...
And the great thing about it is: There is no entrance fee, all the music events are free!! It really has brought life back into the village of Dunfanaghy.

Well, I'll be there this evening and tomorrow, singing, dancing, listening, enjoying...
