It is commen knowledge that your best friend is some one you can count on through thick and thin. There may be long periods of time between meeting up but you know they will always be there for you. In any friendships envy may rear its ugly head. There may be a times when you feel like your being replaced in the friendship by someone else. But rest assured that this feeling will not last because your not. This only the condition trying to isolate you and block that aspect of your recovery. Bridesmaids is a prime example of this. The protagonist is a young women who is asked to be maid of honer at here best friend's wedding. When at the engagement party is she is introduced to the brides to be's best friend from work, some one who appears to to have it all. She instantly begains  to feel threatened by her. All this comes at a time when she feels her life is slowly going nowhere fast. As the film  progresses we see how she over comes her problems and rediscovers what is it she really wants, finds a nice guy and the real value of the friendship. Bridesmaids is a funny buddy movie for the gals that will give a grate immune boost and leave you with a really positive affirmation:

If you hold on for one more day, things will go your way. (slowly but surely)

Time to re-connect

Oh Milada I lovvvvve this

Oh Milada I lovvvvve this film it's laugh out loud, it's so realistic in parts and it is so inspiring. It's not a sensationalised version on everything working out perfectly for the lead actress so its realness makes it all the more inspiring. I especially like the scene where the character who took all the puppies from the bridal shower starts hitting her and saying 'i'm your life!!!!!!!'

Someone told me that the blond character wrote the film with HER bestfriend. Her bestfriend was the other nervous woman sitting beside her on the airplane. The blond woman has worked as a comedy writer for Saturday Night Live for a good few years too.

I love the quote I think I'll use it as an affirmation.

Thanks Milada - I enjoyed your review.

The Help

You are so right Milada; Bridesmaids is such a wonderful film, I saw it at least twice and it changed my mood instantly.

I just came from the cinema few minutes ago. I love going to the cinema in the morning, such a great start of the day. I saw another brilliant film about friendships, and human relationships called ‘The Help’.
If you think we are living in difficult times, go and see this film, you will love to live in 2011. But this film has so much more to offer, great very funny and witty scrip, I am just sorry I did not write some of the quotes, just amazing. Seeing this film will restore your fate in humanity, it shows how important it is to stand up for what you believe in, and not to try to fit in.
Another great example that fears can be change to courage.
I just loved it, I hope you will too :)

There is always a solution…:):):)

I loved "the Help", fantastic

I loved "the Help", fantastic film about giving yourself a voice, making yourself heard, standing up for yourself...
What a strength of character, and really well acted and produced.
I read the book about 10 months ago and loved it too...was a bit afraid that I might get disappointment from the film, but no...it was very very good.
