films

I have really gotten into films lately, listening to M's advice in group. It really hit me when she said a film is not a treat but a must. I would always wait nearly months at a time to either but a movie or rent one. In the past two weeks I am absolutely absorbing all the dvds I have and popping into HMV to see what cheap offers I can get. here's what Ive watched/learned so far

Good music from Paddy Casey

I really like this song it just put me in such good humour!
Especially the part ''anyone can be a saint' and 'anyone can be a star' and ' we've got time'

I love how he is just in an ordinary jumper with he's guitar nothing flashy so natural.

He Doesn't need anythign expenseive he's just himself that's enough. Him and his talent.

The Power of Languages

One Irish singer-songwriter, I absolutely love is Luan Parle. Her song Ghost, as much as I love it when she sings it in English, to be has a much more haunting quality to it, when sung through Irish (pun unintended).

Hope you all enjoy it.

In love and light

Thursday’s Night Out

Are you free and in Dublin this Thursday evening – some suggestion:

Thursday 24th, Brazilian Jazz: Vocalists Double Bill @ International Bar

Sandra Melo Quartet, 8pm
Sandra Melo is a vocalist from Minas Gerais, Brazil, and is currently finishing her studies here in Dublin - but that won’t stop her from breaking free and delivering a fiery performance of her favourite MPB (Musica Populara Brasiliera) tunes.

Emilie sings Elis 9.45pm

Perception is everythin!

We are measured not by what we are but what we are percieved to be, not by what we do but by how we appear to do it, and not by what we say but by how we are heard.--Anon

We are only responsible for our own interpretations, thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions. And as the above words of wisdom indicate----its just easier to be yourself, and leave others to have their own interpretations, thoughts, feelings beliefs and actions!

"What other people think of you is none of your business"....... Walk your own truth with your head held high lovelies!

hugs of hope,
Saoirse (H)
