I am so so sorry to hear of

I am so so sorry to hear of your loss, my love and prayers go to you and your family, i often think oh it will never happen to me, but your line that 'most people do not really work on recovery they accept the condition as a damaged lifestyle' this scares me as so long from other treatments i did this and its not what i want but so often i feel stuck that i am afriad ill jujst survive with it, thank u for your braveness, your honesty and my support and prayers are with you and ur family in this painful time,

Love Cara xx

Time Passes FAST

I did the parents course at Marino over the last 4 weeks. Of all that was said I was most struck by marie campions comment that in her 18 years of working wiith ED suffers she now noticed that

1. there appear to be more people suffering with the ED condition but not in treatment than ever before

2. more people do not really work on recovery. they accept the condition as a damaged lifestyle and, as I understand it, just survive damaged by teh condition.

I lost a family member to death this weekend. We cannot be so complacent not to work on achieving full freedom in recovery.

Wise words

I too am sorry to hear of your loss.

I couldn't agree with you more.  Life is short ... but it is an infinitely fuller experience living it after recovery.  Not only is it richer, there is so much more time free for living when the ED condition isn't occupying 90% of the day.
