Silly story of how women go through all this effort and men may not notice...
Setting: Freedom Fighter(FF) meets a significant male figure(SMF), (who she sees almost every day), for coffee.
After meaning for a few months, which was a plain dark colour, Freedom Fighter finally got bright blonde hilights in her hair the evening before.
After chatting for about an hour...
SMF: There's something different about you today...
FF: Yes....
SMF: Hmmmm let me see, emmmmm... Let me guess.... Your hair is different?
FF: In what way?
SMF (Long Pause) It's cut a bit at the front?
FF: Anything else?
SMF: (Long Pause)(SMF starts looking a bit flustered as he's can't really see what's different about the hair)(Excitedly - )
OH!!! Your roots are showing!!!
FF: What???? I just got my hair done yesterday!
SMF: But they missed loads of your hair, they just dyed some pieces and left loads of pieces dark...
FF: (Sighs) That's what hilights are...
SMF: Oh em sorry, I really don't know about any of these things.
FF: (Is happy that she dyed her hair because SHE LIKES IT AND THINKS IT LOOKS NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
(End of performance)
Learning??? Some people just think differently and that's OK!! I can dye my hair, he can not dye his hair... what suits me may not suit him... and we can both sit beside eachother and have a great chat!

Haa haa!
Haa! That story reminds me of a conversation I had with my boyfriend a while ago about dying hair. He really didn't realise anybody did it! I started listing all these people who clearly had highlights/dyed hair and his mind was boggled!!! He thought all blondes just had blond hair and had really never taken it in that usually it was dyed. Conclusion?? We worry so much about what boys think about but half the time they don't even notice!
It was the same when I worked with so many men in my old job. They were always so proud of themselves when they figured out I had gotten my hair cut even though it was BLATANTLY obvious!!! And most of them never noticed in the first place!
Lets use this for learning - people, especially most men, don't pick at you for individual things like hair, make-up, weight etc. They take in the FULL PACKAGE - the personality, the smile, the aura are much more noticable and make us much more attractive!!
Thanks for this C - great sense of humour,

joke
best ever blonde joke
a blonde calls her boyfriend and says please come over here and help me. i have a killer jigsaw puzzle and i cant figure out how to get started.
her boyfriend asks what is it supposed to be when its finished?
the blonde says according to the picture on the box its a rooster.
her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle, she lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table.
he studies the pieces for a while, then looks at the box and then turns to her and says.
first of all, no mattter what we do we wont be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a rooster.
he takes her hand and says.second, i want you to relax. lets have a cup of tea and then he said with a deep sigh...........................................................
lets put all the cornflakes back in the box.
