If you are thinking of buying a new juicer, consider the following: Strength of the motor - large will last longer; size of the bowl - larger means less emptying/less cleaning; Ease of cleaning - many can be difficult to clean.

Cucumber, Parsley and Carrot Juice
Ingredients:
4 large carrots
Large handful of parsley
½ cucumbers
Wash all the ingredients thoroughly. Leave the cucumber and carrots unpeeled and the green tops on the carrots. Cut them to fit the juicer. Put the parsley into the juicer first; if the herb is very fibrous add it in batches, interspersing it with cucumber. Stir well and drink immediately.
This juice is both a health booster (because of all the anti-oxidant effects of the parsley and carrots) and a diuretic (because of the parsley and cucumber) all in one!!!

Happy Juicing!!!!

calcium goodness snack
I like to catch up on all those years of calcium deficiency by making my own yogurts/after dinner treats.
I use a tub of natural yogurt and blend with cottage cheese/tofu and mix in cinnamon, stewed apples/rhubarb and add some apple juice to sweeten if desired. Then i freeze them or alternatively place in fridge to cool..... Delicious and sooooooo good for the bones and body!
