fitness versus health
I was reading some of Anthony Robbins work - he helps people to discover and develop their own unique qualities of greatness. I came across clarification and perspective between health and fitness which I wanted to share. Fitness is 'the physical ability to perform atletic activity' . health is defined 'as the state where all the systems of the body-nervous, muscular skeletal, circulatory ,digestive, lymphatic , hormonal etc - are working in the optimal way'. He goes on to state that if you achieve fitness at the expense of your health you may not live long enough to enjoy your physique!
