Out with the old, in with the new!!!
Hello beautifuls!!!
Hope each and every unique one of you is enjoying a comparison free day!! Remember no one else is in the business of being you!
YOU ARE IRREPLACEBLE!!
A few ppl hav mentioned hanging onto old condition clothes etc and i just want to share what an absolutely liberating experiencing it was for me wen I got rid of mine. Even now as i remember walking back up the road from the charity shop i can still feel that absolute sense of freedom and such a weight being lifted!! The complete elation took me by surprise as I wasnt sure beforehand about it there was a lot of inner conflict but once i had handed em all over WOW! I was no longer holding onto a painful part of my past i was no longer telling myself oh maybe ill go back there i felt strong i made a commitment to myself to my recovery to my present and future and it felt gooood!
By hanging onto those clothes i was literally clinging to the past, clinging to the condition, because all of them were attached to condition memories of sizes and stages and behaviours, wow all that emotion and confusion in a big black sack!!
So if your doing the same set yourself free, give yourself the gift of a fresh start and accepting where you are today and your movin on up!!!
And if your thinkin oh what if my body changes again... well there are tonnes of shops out there that would be more than grateful for your business! Get excited about clothes!! About colours and accessories, styles textures its so important to wear what makes you feeel good, what expresess you!!
Or if your thinkin oh but i dont have the money to buy all new clothes so im hangin on just in case, think about it - recovery is not cheap!! You would be saving in the long term due to the emotional trauma your puttin yourself through clingin onto these old clothes!!!
Lots of love lovelies
Out with the old in with the new recovered you!! believe me it is worth it!!!!
Mwah!

Hey Joanne, it is freeing to
Hey Joanne,
it is freeing to let them go i did a few months back and i have some in a corner that i still need to throw away but that inner tormoil aaaaaahhhh.... as for dealing with changing body and fears around that and the what ifs with old clothes well i have found a new love of shirts of scarfs huge rings crazy earrings and to anyone strugglin with the same thing these things dont have sizes plus i think they look kinda cool too ha
i think for me all these lil things help with body image too as it gives you something to focus on and for others to focus on and talk about.
Also Joanne, i wanted to reply to your other post but work is mental and i havent the energy to reply most days but i think yu re great and so inspiring that i find it hard to believe that you question whether you will like yourself cause there is so much to like if you look deep enough inside hunny x x x
