A gift for Everyone ~ Marino Medley
Dear Everyone,
You know the way we have had posts about favourite music and songs and quotes and how films inspire us and people and M said in group the other night that it would be great if we could diversify Iceberg a bit with videos etc.....
So let me explain ~ I made a 25 minute collage of audio clips - all in one file - it contains clips from poems like Two Roads Diverged in a Yellow Wood, clips from Shawshank Redemption, Roberto Benigni's Oscar acceptance speech for Life Is Beautiful, Eminem's Lose Yourself, the song Perfect Day, the song Beautiful etc etc etc....
It is an audio file but it is up on youtube in 3 parts because with youtube your upload can only be 10 minutes long each.
It is meant as another thing to listen to if you need a rest from Louise Hay, it's fun and uplifting and empowering, if you like it you can email me juicyjollyjoyce@gmail.com for the full 25min MP3 file and you can put it on your phone or ipod to listen to - just save to desktop and copy over to your device or you can save it to a cd and put in your car. I bought 25 cds today and am saving it to them and will bring to group on Tuesday if you want to wait till then.
So here it is on youtube:

I love it! One quote
I love it!
One quote especially stood out for me. How reassuring it is that "it is never too late to be what you might have been". My time is now. So is yours.
How much power we truly have - and we always have potential because it is an infinite resource. It will not run out. And I will use mine now. If I don't choose to do so, it will be there waiting for me to cop on and use it. It's been waiting years. So I don't need to feel pressure about having potential, but janey mack - why not use it now?
And it is pointless worrying about not using it 'right' or 'well enough'.
Just by living, I am doing the right thing.
I am neither better nor worse than anyone. I am a human being, inherently worthy, and endowed with gifts unique to me. I may as well use them. And I might just make myself happy.
Today, I stop putting off happiness, and instead embrace it as mine to enjoy.
Thank you for this gift Joyce.
Peace to all,
Michelle x
