Oh and i love the way you say

Oh and i love the way you say "for now" because it is something you need to constantly decide everyday - "what is it i want to invest my energy into" out of all the choices available to me...

when you maintain it - it's amazingly powerful but like you said .. you can forget .... we are only human ... and of course that's what recovery is all about ... accepting our human state...

But even if we forget from time to time and get caught up in the stress of a situation - there will always be the choice to re-connect with that more powerful wisdom

It is the greatest self-care you can give yourself

Lovely article, well done and thank you!!!!

Hey Saoirse,

This article really started off my day in a good mood- thanks so much for posting

Focusing on being single will not bring a tall, dark and handsome suitor!

Ha ha so true, they can sense the longing! (I won't focus on how I know that one haha)

Focusing on your flaws does not create perfection!
Focusing on the fact that you have an ED does not bring about recovery.

I think this is like the premise of the condition... Feeling so horrible, so we mess with our food intake and that makes us feel more horrible so the food becomes a crutch again but it just makes us feel more horrible etc etc... tis a nasty cycle.

Your article is really good- it's so important to know that we create our reality. Everything that happens in our lives is neutral until we label it "good" or "bad" so choose the good thoughts... and you'll keep finding more reasons to be happy and thankful!!!!!

About the college work... I always visualized having my work finished well in time and I always did. Either it didn't take so long as I initially anticipated or else the lecturer would be sick or something and the deadline would be pushed forward. The main thing is not to panic or stress- that makes the assignment twice as long to do. It's all good :-)
