LIFE IS A JOURNEY........

Hola Amigos

Seasons greetings from a beautiful afternoon here in Lanzarote .!! heavinly blue sky , and an embracing warm sun , and my feet dipping into the pool !! paradise !!......

Hope you all had a lovely christmas , and looking forward to the new year celebrations !!!......
I love NEW YEARS EVE , that feeling when the bells chime at 12, and I always just stop close my eyes and embrace that moment, and think of all my loved ones far and near, and picture them raising their glasses and cheering "happy" new year .....

During my recovery I discovered A BEAUTIFUL GIFT about life , it was my motivator when days got tough , or confusing , . I remeber sitting down one day and thinking about my life , but I questioned why ? i always visioned my Life in the future , it was always down the road , why i always used the future tense , instead of the present .....
so I changed my vision , didnt happen over night ! but i would stop myself when ever i found myself talking in future tense , and instead i said TODAY , and i thought about life and I know it sounds simple , but hey its the simple things in life that are most precious !............. but i pictured my life as a beautiful "journey" and rather than thinking or focusing on the destination , cus hey , God only knows the answer to that one !! I began to enjoy each day of this journey and that has stayed with me to this day ........

People put so much pressure on themselves around the new year , ah it makes me smile so much when i hear the expression "so whats your new year resolution "........... i always smile and say ..... " I live each day as if its my last " so im just looking forward to the new year !!

I hope TODAY is a very specail day for you all , we dont have to wait for the chiming of the bells to start living , it can happen right now ...............
